“In this day and age, it’s becoming so very easy to completely loose touch with the natural aspects of our lives. We forget the ebb and flow of life on the opposite side of the doubled paned windows, beyond the confines of the office cubicle. We forget what it’s like to live beyond the reach of the wifi networks, and cell phone towers, the structure of the day to day. We’ve been conditioned to embrace our anti-pollinated, temperature controlled, completely portable lifestyles. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not about to break out the granola bars and the acoustic guitar, because like you, I rather enjoy the power I wield with an iPhone. Some of us are old enough to remember the days without google maps… It’s a scary thought. But every now again, the eyes needs to see without the aid of a computer screen. The body needs to feel without the use of a sharper image massage chair. The lungs need to breathe air that hasn’t been triple filtered or adjusted to a perfect 68 degrees. The soul needs to travel without the use of a GPS device. Sometimes, you need to get lost, before you can find yourself.
This is a short eight minute, and thrifty four second film about three friends, and a journey that everyone needs to take every so often. Enjoy, and be inspired.”

Santa Clarita Outlaw
Evan Yakel put on a small outlaw in his town. A pretty nice turnout of local riders showed up. None of them were DH world famous, but that’s what small outlaws are about; They’re about getting out there, racing with your best friends and making a name for yourself! My primary sources* indicate that the competition was fair. In other words, it was anybody’s race and everyone had a great time. Props to Drew Edwards for coming out all the way from Fallbrook! Check out the video that Nathan put together.

Fred (The Boss) Baumann
We met up with Fred today, he is the owner of GMR Skateboards and Ronin Trucks. Got some awesome footage of him flying through GMR on his Ducati and following us down while we bombed the hill on our skateboards! The speeds he hits on his motorcycle are ridiculous, so check it out! Everything filmed with a Gopro hd hero.
